Frequently asked questions about HomeServe Premium cover

  • How do I claim?

    • With cover from HomeServe, you’ll be able to make an insurance claim at any time of the day or night, 365 days a year - so no matter when a problem crops up at home, you can rely on us to help tackle it. We always aim to fix whatever’s gone wrong the first time we come out to you, and we offer a 12-month guarantee on most repairs.

      Making a claim is easy. You can either claim online by logging into your MyHomeServe account or by calling 0330 0247 999*.

      *Lines are open 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Calls will cost you no more than the rate of a standard call and charges may vary depending on your network provider. Calls are recorded for quality control and training purposes.

  • Do options with heating cover include an annual boiler service?

    • We offer a range of boiler cover and central heating cover options so you can pick the one that’s right for you. You can decide whether to add a boiler service and pay for this alongside your cover. Some of our products offer a FREE boiler service during your first year.

  • Do HomeServe provide oil boiler cover?

    • No. To be eligible for HomeServe boiler cover, the boiler(s) at your home must have a power input of less than 70kW and be fired by natural gas (not LPG, solid fuel, electricity or oil). The gas supply pipes to your gas boiler must also be 35 mm or less in diameter.

  • FREE boiler service Terms and Conditions

    • For policies that include a boiler service, the price of the service is shown as FREE when compared to the equivalent cover without service

      The boiler service is FREE in the first year only. Upon renewal, this is chargeable and will be included as standard in the cost of the policy.

      • The offer of a FREE Gas boiler service is only available on certain highlighted products on our website
      • Only one offer per household
      • If you cancel your cover within the first 28 days you will not receive the boiler service
      • No cash alternatives will be offered
