There are two ways that you can register to join the refer a friend scheme:
- Enter your details into the form which appears at the end of the online checkout
- By scrolling to the top of this page and clicking on the link that says: ‘Get a £25 Amazon.co.uk Gift Card’
We will email you when your Amazon.co.uk gift card is ready to be claimed. It will be sent to you 90 days after your friend buys their first policy with us (as long as they don’t cancel it).
You can refer as many friends as you want, but successful referrals will be limited to:
- No more than 5 successful referrals in any 24-hour period
- No more than 10 successful referrals in any 12-month period
- A maximum reward value of £1500 in any 12-month period
The link to claim your reward will be valid for 90 days. Once claimed, your Amazon.co.uk gift card must be used within 12-months.
There are a couple of ways to share information about the scheme with your friends and family:
In Person
You can verbally tell your friends and family about the scheme.
When your friend buys their policy on homeserve.co.uk, they will see a link that says, ‘Been referred by a friend?’ on the ‘Your details’ page. All they need to do is click the link and enter your full name into the pop-up.
If there is another person registered with the exact same name as you, your friend will be asked for your email address. This should be the email that you used when buying your HomeServe policy.
Through your referral dashboard
You can share your unique referral link with your friends by email and text message. You can find your referral link in the refer a friend dashboard. You should have received a link to your dashboard by email when you registered for the scheme.
Other Methods
You can share your unique referral link via other messaging platforms such as email and text message.
Your unique referral link can be found in the refer a friend dashboard, which is accessible via a link sent to your email when first registering for the scheme.
When they’ve registered, if your referred friends make a purchase online, the referral will be linked to you.
There are several reasons why you haven’t received your gift card:
- It hasn’t been 90 days since the friend you referred bought a policy.
- The friend that you referred didn't buy a qualifying policy.
- We were unable to find the friend who referred you, because they didn't register for the scheme before you bought your policy.

- Employees of HomeServe and/or Mention Me or any of their associated companies are not eligible for this Offer.
- The potential customer being referred to HomeServe (the “Referred Friend”) must have been a customer of HomeServe’s for at least 90 days (and paid all premiums due to date) before the £25 Amazon.co.uk Gift Card (the “Reward”) will be issued to the customer referring the friend (“Referrer”) and the Referred Friend. Rewards will be issued by email.
- The Offer is valid only for Referred Friends who purchase the following products sold and administered by HomeServe:
- Plumbing & Electrics
- Gas Boiler & Central Heating
- Heating Plumbing & Electrics
- Heating Plumbing & Electrics Plus
Gas Boiler & Central Heating, Heating Plumbing & Electrics, and Heating Plumbing & Electrics Plus policies can be purchased either with or without a boiler service and will remain eligible for this Offer. Landlord policies are not included in this Offer.
- The Referred Friend must be a new customer of HomeServe’s and not have held a product sold by HomeServe previously.
- The Referrer’s eligibility to earn Rewards is subject to: (i) no more than 5 referrals in any 24-hour period; (ii) no more than 10 referrals in any 12-month period; and (iii) a maximum value of Rewards of £1,500.
- HomeServe reserves the right to substitute the Reward with a reward of equal or greater value in the event that the Reward cannot be provided. No cash alternative will be given.
- The Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer promoted by HomeServe.
- Separate Amazon.co.uk terms and conditions will apply to the use of the Reward.
- HomeServe reserves the right to change, alter or withdraw the Offer at any time.
- If any of these terms and conditions are found to be void or unenforceable, that term or condition shall be deemed to be deleted and the remaining terms and conditions shall continue in full force and effect.
- These terms and conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
- The Offer is only eligible for online sales.
