How to stop your overflow pipe from leaking
A leaking toilet overflow isn’t a job anyone wants to add to their to-do list. To help you get to the bottom of the problem, here are my top three things to look out for…
1. Check the float valve (that’s the plastic ball that sits inside the toilet tank) isn’t stuck, broken or sitting too high.
2. Whilst you’re there, make sure the washer on the value isn’t worn or damaged.
3. Keep an eye on the speed that water is coming into the tank. You can slow it down by turning the valve on the water pipe that leads into your toilet.
That’s all there is to it – quick and simple checks that should really do the trick. You can take a look at the full blog if you’d like to find out more.
